ALVERSTOKE PARISH GOOD NEIGHBOUR SCHEME

Has been formed to provide an emergency short term sticking plaster service for vulnerable people living in the Parish who may be ill, temporarily incapacitated, hospitalised, being discharged from hospital, or require a sitter whilst a carer attends an appointment.  We are able to support you by undertaking light shopping, collecting a prescription, preparing a light meal, feeding the cat, walking the dog, sitting with someone who needs supervision , taking someone to a local medical appointment, going to the library, reading post, or a book. 

All volunteers CRB checked. If you need emergency short term support please ring the co-coordinator mobile 07757010923 or the Parish Centre and leave a message.  

Prayer for Troops in Danger

Please join us in our prayers for the men and women of our Armed Forces and those of other countries who are now in harm's way in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other parts of the world. We thank them and their families for their sacrifices.
