“TEA- TIME” CONCERTS. These are on the FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH at 3.30pm. Entry will be free. There will be a collection for the restoration of the historic “Handel” organ. Refreshments will be on sale afterwards. All the musicians are giving freely of their talents as their contribution to the organ restoration project.
June 6 The ladies of Solent Sound – 20th century rhythm and well known songs And the total contrast of the St.Mary’s Quintet from Portsea singing 16th century
July 4. Recital by many under-nineteen age student organists from Portsmouth and District.
Aug 1. James Luxton, Birmingham Conservatoire, organ recital (and maybe more)
Sep 5 Lighthearted music from St.Mary’s Quintet - Portsea - Grant Hardy and St. Mary’s - Fareham - Gordon Uphill
Oct 3 Andrew Cleary – organ and strings - Handel organ concertos.
Nov 7 Recorders and instruments - from Bishops Waltham – David Burgess
Dec 5 Gilian Lloyd with family and friends entertain on the organ and instruments.
SATURDAY EVENING CONCERTS – AT 7.30PM Collections at Saturday concerts are divided 50/50 between the church expenses and the organ restoration.
June 17 “Training Band” & “Young Strings” of Fareham and Gosport Youth Orchestra
June 26 Wyndcliffe Voices – Philip Drew. Choral concert – Pergolesi anniversary.
July 10 Warwickshire County Boys Choir – (big choir 9 – 13 year old) - Garry Jones
