HRH Prince Charles visit to Wusasa

St Bartholomew's Old Cathedral Church built in 1929. The first church in Northern Nigeria built by the Church Missionary Society and considered as the cradle of Christianity in Northern Nigeria.

Together with Bishop Lamido and HRH Prince Charles are The Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi (in blue in the photo below) and Archbishop Josiah of Kaduna Diocese. In the photo below  you can see the doors of St Bartholomew's New Cathedral which was built in 1999.

Bishop Lamido has written a History of the CMS mission work in Northern Nigeria.  Copies of his book can be ordered through the parish for £5.00 plus p & p.
